NOMAD COLLECTION* - This is for all the adventurers and explorers whose journeys provide experiences that define a beautiful life.
As Theodore Roosevelt stated: “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure…than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat.”
*The NOMAD COLLECTION will be limited edition - as we will rotate the freshest coffees from around the globe!
Current Nomad Offering:Ethiopian Sidamo Arfasa- Medium Roast
This harvest concluded in January 2019 and arrived in the US in late September after untold delays in Ethiopia owing to civil and commercial unrest...but worth the wait!
Specialty grade coffee from Sidamo is grown mainly in small villages (kebeles). Sidamo is well known for its production of "garden coffee". The coffee is planted at low density, ranging from 1000 to 1800 trees per hectare and is mostly fertilized with organic matter. All of the coffee produced under this system is agronomically organic – but most is not certified as such. About 95 % of the Sidamo coffee is fully washed. Fresh and clean cherries arrive at Arfasa washing stations where they are pulped, and allowed to ferment naturally. The fermented coffee is washed with clean running water, soaked in clean water, and then dried till it retains about 11.5 percent moisture.
Recommended for pour-over and drip but also French Press, as its body is somewhat beefier than many Ethiopian coffees.
We source the freshest high-grade coffees from around the world. This superb Ethiopian coffee offers tasting notes of baker's chocolate, blueberry, lavender, and vanilla.. This isSpecialty grade, 100% Arabica coffee.
